WWHCORE VOL. 1
The backstory:
Wanting to give the kids something to listen to as well as something to read, in May of ’08 I sent out a combination of smoke signals, telegrams and pigeons to any band that wished to participate in a free, digital compilation self-released through what was then a one-man, shoddily assembled shack of a blog.
The response wasn’t as great as I had hoped — I blame my primitive communication techniques — but enough music was received to cultivate this, WWHCORE VOL. 1. 11 bands, all awesome, 100 percent gratis. Because we care.

WWHCORE VOL. 2 is in the works for 2009, and if you’re a band wanting to appear on it, here’s how you can get the ball rolling:
Shoot me an e-mail. In this e-mail you should include links to your website/myspace page/whatever page and a short bio. And if you’re really feeling saucy and want to send me a song right off the bat, feel free. Just make sure that the song is IN 192 KBPS MP3 FORMAT. I seriously cannot stress that enough. 192 kbps MP3. 192 kbps MP3. 192 kbps MP3. Any other questions you might have should be directed to that same e-mail address.
